Satya Lall
Carita Non-Surgical Facials, Carita Hot Stone Massage, Decleor Facials, Waxing
Satya has nearly 30 years experience in the beauty industry. After graduating, she worked for a salon in Kensington, before setting up her own business.
Satya’s growing interest in complementary therapies over the past decade inspired her to set up The Hidden Alternative in 2002. Since then she has also studied Energy Healing and incorporates these techniques into her holistic Decleor facials, and the Carita non-surgical face lift.
She is an old-fashioned Facialist at heart and her mantra is “cleanse, tone and moisturise”. Satya encourages clients to perform this daily ritual at home, so that she can focus more on extractions and massage during their facials.
Since launching out on her own Satya has succeeded in building up an impressive client base with a loyal following. Many of her clients leave her salon feeling they have not only had a facial but some inner healing too.
"It was just by chance that I came across the Hidden Alternative several years ago.. where I initially visited for some mundane hair removal. I was immediately impressed with Satya's professionalism and have always felt a sense of calm and peace as soon as I walk through the door. After a few visits, Satya encouraged me to invest in a Decleor facial to try and tackle the milia I have always suffered from. Not only have I seen a real improvement in the condition of my skin but most of all I enjoy taking a bit of time out to be looked after by someone with such healing hands. The facial not only does what it promises but thanks to the massage it includes, leaves you feeling healed throughout. Through the Hidden Alternative I have also had an excellent cranio sacral therapy massage and I have always been impressed by the quality and individual approach of Satya's colleagues. The idea and the reality of the Hidden Alternative is completely unique and true to its name. I don´t think you can find a better place to heal your body and soul."

Carita Hot Stone Massage
"I lead a very busy life. I have a husband, 3 children and run my own marketing business. Finding time for me is not at the top of my priorities. But, when Satya suggested a Hot Stone Massage and described the three stages involved I thought I had to try it.
I normally enjoy a deep massage and was surprised at the result. Not only did my skin feel smooth and soft, but all the tightness from my muscles just eased away, as the heat from the stones travelled deep.
The only thing I did not like was it had to stop and I had to leave. As Satya said it is relaxation in another dimension."

Carita Non-Surgical Face-Lift
"Being in my 40’s and having heard about Satya’s Carita facials, I decided to try this non-surgical face-lift! Upon ‘clinical’ analysis of my skin, Satya, the therapist suggested that I initially have 5 in 3 weeks in order to see results. I maintain the results of the initial treatments, as you do with a regular facial, once a month. After my third treatment, I met some of my girlfriends who I had not seen for some time. One of them insisted I was taking monkey gland pills because my skin was glowing! My skin is firmer and I regularly go without make-up now, which is something I’d never thought would be possible. I use all the products Satya recommends almost religiously and am extremely happy with the results.
8 months down the line my friends are constantly commenting about the youthfulness of my skin, including if I had had an eyebrow lift?
No, I just have regular Carita facials.
A blissfully happy"

"He is able to assist with Mental, Emotional, & Physical Problems and teachs you to restore your energies and helps you to look at your challenges with a different prospective thus enabling you to heal yourself. You will soon find out that you are not the victim of life.
I suffer from terrible phobic fears and thinking that my flat will catch fire, so I find it difficult to leave my flat. Also I have panic attack. In desperation I looked through the internet for a healer and I came across Arram’s site on Energy Healing.
I phone him and explained what I was suffering from and he said that he could help me within a few sessions. Arram explained about energy and how it works and said that I was losing too much energy and this was causing me to have my panic attacks.
After the first session I realised that the thoughts that I had were really unrealistic and that I had been programmed from a very young age to exaggerate all my moods.
Arram taught me how to control my thoughts and now I am free from fears about my flat burning, or if I am travelling that the plane will blow up.
I feel much better after 2 sessions and now I am learning how to be more confident, and am looking forward to taking care of my thought forms which have been driving crazy.
Thank you Arram."

Emotional Freedom Technique
"Thank you Arram for helping me help myself. I have had terrible physical pains in various parts of my body, and I went to Arram for a consultation. He told me that my emotional problems were causing me physical pains; this was News to me and didn’t make any sense.
Anyway, I was open minded enough to try the treatment as I was in so much pain, and I was not prepared to take more painkillers. Within three sessions, I learnt to control my pain and in fact am amazed that through visualisation and meditation that I can actually help myself. In the first session I was already able to reduce my pain.
Arram talks about energy and it was strange at first, and said that pain is an indication for us to change. I now know what he is talking about, because I have through my pain changed my patterns and I am now getting much better.
I then read his book which explains WHY we become ill."

Darren has been working as a complementary therapist for over six years. He works full time in the holistic field. As an Iyengar yoga teacher, massage therapist, spiritual healer and Craniosacral therapist, Darren has a broad skill set to draw upon when helping clients with specific injuries and conditions.
"Through my yoga practice with Darren I noticed I was still struggling to perform poses due to bad back pain and stiffness. After several sessions of massage, healing and craniosacral therapy with Darren my whole wellbeing has improved – so has my yoga! Darren intuitively knows where and how to work on areas of the body that need healing. It’s not just a massage that you get from Darren’s treatments, for me it’s been a process of emotional release. For years, I had been carrying many negative emotions and pent-up grief. My trust in Darren’s ability and feeling comfortable with his approach enabled me to cathartically release this pain.
Thank you!"

Massage
"I am a bit of a connoisseur of massage and Darren is the best I have come across in the UK. He has dealt with a long-standing sciatica problem which 3 other assorted professionals have failed to understand or alleviate. I knew him first as a yoga teacher and am aware of the years he has spent studying musculoskeletal interaction, via a number of different disciplines. I firmly believe he will one day become a very expensive guru. I cannot recommend him highly enough."

"A keen rugby player, I had a knee operation after years of being in constant pain. My legs were painful, I had tight muscles and stiff joints and an aching knee. Daren assessed me and recommended certain treatments, mainly a combination of deep tissue massage and yoga.
After my first session I felt great, the treatments have been going on for 6 weeks, early days but there is a definite reduction in pain, a marked improvement in my muscles and I generally feel a sense of well-being and have more energy."
Rahul Babbar
Hands-On Healing and Massage
"I was suffering severe lower-back pain at the beginning of 2007. I was conscious that, when walking and when using a treadmill at the gym, that my feet were pronating and I thought the backpain was a result of that. I consulted a podiatrist who prescribed orthotics to wear in my shoes and who felt the back pain would go after a few months. When this did not happen, I consulted a rheumatologist, who sent me for MRI scan which showed degeneration of the lumbar discs and two herniated discs. He suggested intense physiotherapy, coupled with a daily programme of stretches and exercises. After 10 weeks, there was no improvement and the pain was still intense. At that point I consulted Darren Bloom at The Hidden Alternatives, whom I had seen a couple of years previously when he treated me successfully for acute pain in my shoulder. I have been seeing Darren weekly since the end of August and he has treated me using holistic massage, cranio-sacral therapy and other alternative, hands-on healing methods. I have also started, at his recommendation, an Iyengar yoga class. The combination of treatment and yoga has made a noticeable improvement, reducing pain from acute to very bearable – and, at times, no pain at all. I feel sure that, with continued treatment and yoga, my back-pain will eventually diminish to the point where it is no longer a problem."

"My experience of energy healing was quite amazing and definitely beneficial. After having a treatment I felt extremely relaxed and a lot of work stress that I had been experiencing at the time seemed to disappear. Afterwards I had the best night sleep and for the next 3 days felt alive and re-energised! My back was also playing up before the treatment and the session really helped to ease the pain. I would definitely recommend this treatment - thank you Lina!"

"I have had a couple of energy healing sessions with Lina and both times they have been extremely beneficial. I was a little sceptical beforehand but found that the results were far better than I could have ever expected. I found afterwards that I felt relaxed and re-energised. I'd almost describe the feeling as though I had been on a two week holiday! All the stress that I had been experiencing, both on a physical and emotional level, seemed to drift away after the treatment. I had also been experiencing some pain in my leg since completing a 10k run, as a result I feel that the treatment has helped tremendously and feel much better now. I would thoroughly recommend the work Lina does, she is sensitive, empathetic and caring which I feel are essential qualities in this type of work."
